Tenley Molzahn, America’s sweetheart from The Bachelor Season 14 and the lucky one to turn hottie Kiptyn’s head on The Bachelor Pad, is also the stylish editor-in-chief of Fashion 5.0 Magazine. On premiere day for The Bachelorette, we had cocktails with the North County cutie to get tasty deets on her favorite places to date in SD and what she really thinks about the couple we love to hate, Ben and Courtney…

TIDBITS: First off, were you just as shocked by last season’s Ben/Courtney drama as we were, and do you think they’ll actually last?
TENLEY: Oh my goodness, yes! All I could see while watching the show was this girl trying to “win” a game. I know the audience (including myself) wanted to see Ben choose a “sweet girl,” but honestly I think Ben liked Courtney’s edge. I haven’t met either of them, so it’s not fair to say that they have no chance in making it…but I’m going to guess that the two of them are not ready to be forever committed to one another. Of course I hope I’m wrong…we’ll see!

TIDBITS: You and Kiptyn Locke are one of the few couples from Bachelor fame who are still going strong. What’s the secret?
TENLEY: We were friends first! Both of us were opposed to having relationships within the Bachelor franchise, but there was an undeniable chemistry, and when the two of us were placed in the Bachelor Pad mansion together, what was to come for us was inevitable. Another great part of our relationship is we’re away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. We live very normal lives, and when we do red carpet events or other appearances, we know that it’s different then when we’re out of the limelight.

TIDBITS: Do you two have a favorite date night in San Diego?
TENLEY: Since we both live in Encinitas, we love walking to the little spots downtown, like 3rd Corner. It’s our favorite place to sit down and enjoy some wine and grab a great salad (portions are amazing for prices), and I must admit I love their fries. We also love Ki’s in Cardiff – they have a great gluten-free menu (I’m g-free) and it’s the perfect spot to catch a beautiful sunset.

TIDBITS: What’s one thing all San Diego ladies should have in their wardrobe?
TENLEY: A great workout outfit that motivates you to get out walking, running and enjoying the gorgeous place we live in. And then, of course, a bikini that you feel sexy in and can show off your confidence from those outdoor workouts!
