Do you love knowing about the best sample sales and designer trunk shows? That is exactly why I started Tidbits. People were always asking me how I found such fabulous deals and if I would keep them in the loop. I wanted something in REAL TIME that would be a weekly reminder about hot restaurant openings, trendy clothing lines and boutique sales.
My idea was to create a website that looks like a magazine, broken into small articles that come in email format, like getting your favorite magazine piece by piece each week! I hope you enjoy receiving your weekly Tidbits as much as I enjoy scouting them out.

Alexis DelChiaro is a true California girl who loves living in America’s Finest City! Alexis starts her work day in the middle of the night- at 3:30am! Waking up before sunrise is just part of the job description for this news anchor. You may recognize Alexis from Channel 9’s Good Morning San Diego weekdays from 5-10am!
Alexis is a graduate of the beautiful University of California, Santa Barbara, with a major in communications, and a minor in Spanish.
After 6 years of anchoring the news in Arizona, Alexis joined the KUSI News family in 2010, as the co-anchor of Good Morning San Diego.
Alexis has been fortunate to cover a wide range of stories in her career, from interviewing American Idols to trying out for So You Think You Can Dance to touring the Grand Canyon by helicopter.
Alexis also had the opportunity to fly with the Navy’s prestigious Blue Angels, but it wasn’t until her pilot handed over the controls that she got nervous. (Everyone always wants to know one thing about flying with the Blue Angels and the answer is no… she didn’t pass out or get sick!) Alexis was also lucky enough to skydive with the elite US Army Golden Knights.
When not anchoring the news, Alexis enjoys seeing the world, running, and yoga. She can often be found volunteering time with organizations like The Make A Wish Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
Loves I love caramel apples, accents and shavasana (the nap after yoga.) I love love music from Frank Sinatra to OAR to 90's boy bands. (Btw, I have diagnosed myself with have audio ADD- I can't listen to a song for more than 30 seconds without skipping to the next song.) I believe artichokes are a totally delicious and highly misunderstood vegetable. I love getting lost in a good book and taking afternoon naps. I enjoy circling the globe in of search of yummy brushetta, nachos and bloody marys. I also love bubbles...champagne, that is.
Loathes Brusselsprouts, fruit flies, sitting in traffic and flaky people.

My experience creating a brand from nothing while building my own boutique was invaluable experience that I bring into almost every professional relationship I have. I love what’s new, emerging and also what’s old and works.

The combination of these characteristics leads me to believe that my existence is on-par with that of the yeti, the chupacabra, and the sober Courtney Love.
Loves arty tattoos, robots, sarcasm, planetariums, sugar skulls, internets, cheeseballs (food and people), teacup pigs, carbohydrates.
Loathes general rudeness, unfounded pretension, negative-nancies, the way "fresh fruit" at restaurants is ALWAYS just assorted melon.
